A general mechanical engineering company set up in 1977 in Fontcouverte, Charente-Maitime.
Creation of the automation center
Design and implementation of a robotized line for a cooper customer.
Creation of a design office with 3D software.
Creation of a special machine equipped with a NUM 720 numerical control.
Realization of the first special machine in the peeled-wood sector, followed by many other achievements in various fields.
Acquisition by SBM SAS - new Managing Director: Cédric Rouger
First special machine equipped with a 5-axis robot for cooperage.
Manager retires, workshop manager takes over.
To meet the growing demand for machining, Amas invests in a CNC lathe, with other machines to follow,
Company founded by Mr Seynat
Our areas of activity include subcontract machining (turning and milling), the production of mechanically-welded frameworks, and the design and manufacture of specific machines.
